    Developer Relations Engineer

    GrowthRemoteFull-time or Part-time$120k–$160k + equity (negotiable for part-time)

    You'll be our first dedicated DevRel engineer, defining how Mixpeek shows up for developers across content, demos, and community. We need someone who can explain multimodal AI pipelines on TikTok without sounding like a corporate robot. You'll build Mixpeek University (our education platform), ship small production-quality sample apps, and create technical content across LinkedIn, YouTube, and GitHub. This is hands-on code and real tutorials, not conference swag.

    Responsibilities

    • Create Mixpeek University content: hands-on tutorials for retrieval, relevance tuning, fine-tuning, and embedding workflows
    • Ship small, production-quality sample apps (Next.js, Python, etc.) that show how to integrate Mixpeek into real products
    • Build an audience on TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube with authentic, non-corporate content about ML/AI
    • Write blog posts and documentation that developers actually want to read
    • Pair with early customers and turn their use cases into public recipes and tutorials
    • Collaborate with product/engineering on API ergonomics and SDK design
    • Engage with the community on GitHub, Discord, and wherever developers hang out
    • Speak at conferences and run workshops (when it makes sense—no quota to hit)

    Requirements

    • 2+ years in DevRel/engineering/data/ML roles, with a strong public portfolio of content or OSS
    • GitHub profile with example apps, libraries, or meaningful contributions
    • You've built things with ML/AI—retrieval systems, embeddings, fine-tuning, RAG, etc.
    • Portfolio of technical content you've created (blog posts, videos, tutorials, talks)
    • Comfortable on camera and on stage—you can explain complex ideas without the jargon
    • Experience with vector search or multimodal/retrieval systems is a big plus, but not strictly required
    • You actually enjoy teaching and building community (this isn't a marketing role)
